Why?
When I work with schools, we always start with defining the three basic components of their identity: mission, values, and vision.

My mission is to empower schools to harness their unique strengths in order to transform the lives of those in their communities, now and for the generations to come.
-
COMPASSION >>> I believe that everyone has a story and is worthy of curiosity and non-judgment, especially those who have had an experience other than my own. I believe that what unites us is greater than what divides us. I believe that the work of creating equity and belonging can start in schools. I believe that every person in our path can teach us something. I believe in fostering human connections, in hope, and in grace.
CREATIVITY >>> I believe that every problem is an opportunity waiting to be discovered. I believe in critical and divergent thinking and love a good debate that challenges my thinking. I believe that play and fun are integral to innovation.
CURIOSITY >>> I believe in diving deeper and learning more about almost everything. I believe in asking questions and being an aggressive listener. I believe that curiosity builds connection and connection inspires community.
INTEGRITY >>> Above all, I believe that schools should contribute to raising ethical humans and that the adults in them must model character. I believe that the only path worth traveling is paved in transparency, honesty, authenticity, and excellence. I believe that trust is the foundation for all healthy relationships and that trust must be earned.
