• My clients prioritize students, teachers, and a healthy school culture. They want to dream bigger and realize bold goals. They align with my strengths-based approach while also leaning into using data to discover the root cause of challenges. They are committed to long-term sustainability and are willing to dig deeper. They embrace joy, thoughtfulness, and want to have a few laughs along the way.

  • Maybe. I am happy to have a conversation about your needs. When I was a school leader, I worked with consultants who made critical impacts and those that did not help move the school forward. As a consultant, I understand budgets and can collaborate on ways to effectively utilize resources.

  • Every dollar in a school should be put to its highest and best use for children. If I am not the best person to meet your needs, I’ll give you suggestions for who may be better. I meet clients where they are; my work is different in that my approach and processes are not only effective, but they are also tailored to each school. The true strength of individual schools is that each is unique. I only take on a limited number of clients at a time so that each can have my full attention. Clients can expect from me an unwavering commitment to excellence and that I will respond to calls, texts, or emails within 24 hours.

  • Depending on the project, the following types of data can be important: enrollment, fundraising, DEIB, staffing and structure, student learning outcome, external market, as well as constituent interviews and focus groups, accreditation and other consulting reports, board minutes and reports, and financials and financial modeling. While each piece of information tells one story, the powerful insights happen when all pieces are analyzed, synthesized, shared, and reflected upon.

  • My work typically results in schools increasing their revenue, as well as strengthening the systems that contribute to long-term sustainability. I do this by helping schools identify, believe in, and leverage their strengths while taking an honest look at their challenges. We work together to solve their perpetual issues – those that have been in existence for many years and on which they can’t seem to gain traction. I help schools visualize the big picture and break that down into systems, then give them tools, such as implementation plans, that they can use for years to come. Good change management is inherent to each consulting project and generally provides an opportunity to unite the community. Above all, I want to inspire school leaders to find the joy in children and root them in why they do the work. School leadership is a hard job!

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
